Portland, OR- Angel Bourdage, 23-years-old, was sentenced to 20 months in prison September 30, 2026, for stealing a car and ramming it into a Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office SUV, before driving it into a crowd of at least fifteen civilians. Bourdage was also sentenced in an earlier case that involved him racing away from police in a different vehicle.
In case 26CR08166, Bourdage pleaded guilty to:
Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle
Felony Elude
Four counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person
In case 25CR08166, Bourdage pleaded guilty to Felony Elude.
Deputy District Attorney Alexandra Jansky prosecuted the case for the state.
After the plea and sentencing, she said: “This is an incident that could have been much worse. We are grateful to the quick work of the MCSO deputies, who kept civilians out of harm’s way and put a stop to the Defendant’s dangerous behavior.”

THE FACTS:
In case 26CR42715:
On May 25, 2026, the defendant was located in the driver’s seat of a stolen vehicle. Police were alerted to the defendant and a passenger by someone who reported them passed out in the vehicle, which was parked in a space reserved for handicapped parking. The defendant woke up as deputies were moving their vehicles to block the stolen vehicle. The defendant rammed into the patrol SUV and several other parked cars while trying to escape, before driving the vehicle through a crowd of at least fifteen people. The defendant nearly ran over several individuals in the process, one of whom had to be pulled out of the defendant’s path by a Sheriff deputy. The defendant bailed from the vehicle and ran on foot before being arrested by Multnomah County Sheriffs.

On January 5, 2025, the defendant was driving recklessly on a Portland area highway and endangering public safety.
