Deputy District Attorney Keegan Matosich is the prosecutor assigned to the case. After an investigation conducted by officers with PPB’s Central Precinct Neighborhood Response Team (NRT), DDA Matosich worked with PPB to execute a search warrant for Saul’s residence. In November 2023 that warrant was served, and significant evidence was seized.
The case was referred to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office for review. Upon review of the evidence provided by law enforcement, DDA Matosich presented the case to a grand jury, which returned a true bill of indictment on March 14, 2024.
The DA’s Office would like to thank the officers with the Central NRT, especially Officer Nathan Kirby-Glatkowski and Officer Amelia Flohr.
A charging document is only an accusation of a crime. Saul is innocent unless and until proven guilty.
