According to court documents, on May 30, 2020, Portland Police responded to a business called “BAIT,” located in the 800 block of Southwest Broadway Street. When officers entered the store, they located Cavanaugh attempting to leave the store carrying store merchandise. Police also identified Anderson as another suspect inside the store committing the crime of theft.
According to its social media profiles, BAIT is a premium retailer specializing in footwear, apparel and high end collectibles.

A charging document is only an accusation of a crime. Cavanaugh and Anderson are innocent unless and until proven guilty.
A grand jury previously indicted a third co-defendant, Ada McGraw, in this case.
